· Wait for the c to appear next to the weight to indicate a stable reading.
· Remove the item and wait for a stable zero reading before weighing the next one. |

· This scale requires one 9V alkaline battery for 300 operating hours.

· The battery compartment is located on the underside of the scale.

Caring for your scale | |
· Please read this Owner’s Manual and calibrate your scale according to the instructions.
· Allow the scale to settle to room temperature when taking it from the car or an extreme environment. Avoid temperatures over 145° F /63° C.
· Calibrate with the supplied 10.000-gram weight only.
· Wait for a stability indicator to display. The scale will not give stable readings on an excessively vibrating surface or environment.
· Prevent small particles from falling into the mechanisms.
· Avoid shocks, such as dropping it on the floor.
· Do not attempt to dismantle the scale. Tampering with the scale will adversely affect accuracy and will void your warranty.
· Use the Level Bubble to ensure that your scale is level.
